From Albany and Points South (4 ½ hours from NYC) Take the NY Thruway to exit 24 in Albany and take exit 1N (after the toll) to I-87 North (the Adirondack "Northway"). Drive approx. 1 1/2 hours, take Exit 23 (Warrensburg). Take Rt 9 North through Warrensburg to Rt 28 West. Take Rt 28 West to North Creek, after passing Casey's, Nice n'Easy, and Stewart's, look for a right hand fork onto Main St at Cunningham's Ski Barn. Take Main St into the middle of town to The Alpine

From Rutland, Vermont and Points East (1 ¾ hours) Travel 25 miles on 4W to Whitehall, NY. In Whitehall, you may either 1. ) Turn LEFT onto 4S, drive approx. 10 miles, then turn RIGHT onto Rte 149. Follow to the end of Rte 149 (about 20 miles), then turn LEFT onto Rte 9. Follow signs to I-87 North, and proceed to Exit 23. * Follow directions from the South. OR 2)Turn RIGHT onto Rte 22 North and head toward Ticonderoga. Travel 26 miles to Route 9N, then head south to Rte 9 toward Hague. When you reach Hague, turn onto Rte 8 West and drive past Chestertown and Loon Lake and Riparius. At the 4 corners of Rt 8 and Rt 28. Take a Right onto Rt 28. Take Rt 28 West to North Creek, after passing Casey's, Nice n'Easy, and Stewart's, look for a right hand fork at Cunningham's Ski Barn. Take Main St into the middle of town to The Alpine.

From Buffalo and Points West (5 hours). Drive east on New York State Thruway to Exit 33 (Rome/Rte 365). Turn RIGHT onto Rte 365 and follow until you reach Rte 8. Turn LEFT onto Rte 8. Take Rt 28 West to North Creek, after passing Casey's, Nice n'Easy, and Stewart's, look for a right hand fork at Cunningham's Ski Barn. Take Main St into the middle of town to The Alpine.

From Montreal and Points North (3 Hours) Take I87 (The Northway) to Exit 26. Take a left off the ramp to lead you to Rt 9, take a right onto Rt 9 south. Drive to the center of Pottersville, take a right to drive into Olmstedville. In Olmstedville follow signs to North Creek via Rt 28N. This takes you to the center of North Creek. Take a right at the light onto Main St. The Alpine will be on your right.

From Boston and Points East (4 ½ hours) Take the Mass. Turnpike to the New York State Thruway (I-90). Get off at exit B-1, and follow to I-87 North (The "Northway"). **Follow directions from the South (see Albany).

From Gore Mountain (5 minutes). Take the access road down to Peaceful Valley Rd. Take a right onto Peaceful Valley Road to Rt 28. Take a left onto Rt 28 for 100 yards, take a right onto Rt 28N. At the light, take a left onto Main St. The Alpine is on your right in the center of town.
